CHAPTER 1
We start from the top with a family of four, let's take a look at what God has in store. The husband is Elimelech and the wife is Naomi, they have two sons and there's the family. One son is named Mahlon and the other Chilion. They're living in Bethlehem where great things happen.
As life goes on in this little town, a famine is brewing and appears all around. They must find somewhere to anchor down, so they moved to Moab a neighboring town. A little different there not quite like home, at least they're together and not alone. Everything is okay now, they have food and shelter, but something suddenly happens that makes them shatter.
Their father died like all of a sudden, but they can't fall apart they have to keep steppin. The family is down to the count of three, and the sons aim to rebuild the family tree.
The boys check out two honies in town, and zoom in tight to hold it down. Oh yes, two brides on the scene to go, all because of the famine they have wives to show. One named Ruth and the other Orpah, now they've become Naomi's daughters.
As time moves on like 10 years exactly, the sons suddenly die and so unexpectedly. Now Ruth and Orpah have lost their boo, but God uses Naomi to help them through.
Since living in Moab Naomi's family has shrunken, so now it is time for them to get crackin. As she embraced them, she heard the famine is over, and said "Praise the Lord, He is my provider!"
Immediately Naomi packs to head back home, but won't leave the ladies there all alone. She asked them to join her to start a new life, to avoid the hassle and all of the strife. They loaded up and started the journey to Bethlehem, but while on the road Naomi halted them.
She told them to go back to their mother's house, because you've been good to me and your spouse. The three embraced to form their little group hug, then cried and cried for they had the love bug. They loved each other with that real family spirit, but now faced with the challenge to glue or tear it.
