A majority of these articles are fly fishing related and he has also taken on a few other subject matters that happen in and around Yellowstone County. About the Author

Doc Knoll is quite a well-known figure in the world of sport fishing. Besides owning a destination fly shop, located on the banks of the Yellowstone River, he has also developed a product line of his own fishing products which are distributed throughout the United States and other locations. At the time of this writing, Doc was also one of the only six genetic hackle producers in the world. He has written for a variety of US Internet publications as well as international sites such as racklehanen.com (SWEDEN), about fly fishing.com (CANADA), Cantafly (NEW ZEALAND).
Doc has also contributed to print publications such as The Montana Pioneer and the Gardiner Howler in which he wrote a monthly commentaries on various aspect of life and sport in Yellowstone Country and Yellowstone National Park.

He has had the distinct honor of being included into the Fish and Fly Magazine’s Yellowstone Fly Fishers. This prestigious inclusion, with nine other anglers, was awarded him in the Spring 2004 Edition of the publication.
