Do you dare enter into the world of The Bogeyman?

Strange things are happening at Hayes Way Primary School. Children and school staff are vanishing and a dark figure lurks in the school. Scarlet Taylor one day after school finds herself coming face to face with The Bogeyman.

This starts a campaign of The Bogeyman making her life a misery. Turning everyone against her in the school. The only people Scarlet can count on are her friends and the mysterious new caretaker. Together they must stop The Bogeyman from getting more powerful and Scarlet Taylor will have to stand up to the nastiest bully she has ever faced. Can Scarlet and her friends stop The Bogeyman? Or will The Bogeyman become all powerful?

About the Author

Dan Lomas and Valerie Lomas are mother and son team who have worked together on The Bogeyman. Dan got the idea from his day volunteering at his mom's school and from his own personal experiences of bullying when he was a child. So Dan set off to write a scary story featuring the nastiest bully ever The Bogeyman. Dan designed the cover, but he did not illustrate it as he is a bad at drawing. So his mom Valerie followed Dan's design and brought to life an iconic cover.
Dan was influenced by Heath Ledger as the Joker for The Bogeyman. There are moments in the story which take inspiration from his performance.
