Overview

The word evil undoubtedly has the worst connotation amongst most words. What do you think of when you see it or hear it? The Devil? Death? Racism? Murder? Storybook villains? Do you think of someone you know personally? Do you ever think of yourself in that way?

The Bloody Tree, book one of a four-book series, follows a young woman named Demi. She comes to an age where she begins to question her purpose, and sets off on a journey to find it. Demi has to combat evil in quite a few ways. Whether facing it internally or externally, she discovers that it is up to her to find a way to beat it... or redefine it. Her journey to self-discovery will not be an easy one, especially because she knows next to nothing about the world around her or where she truly comes from. She knows even less about whom she is destined to become. Along the way she meets a few friends with whom, when their forces combine, she unlocks a centuries-old bond which gives them more power and more trouble than they bargained for.

About the Author

Casey Adam F. was born and raised in Wisconsin, where he currently resides. His love for writing fantasy stems from his own childhood experiences exploring the written worlds created by his favorite authors. It is, for him, ideal to confront the mundane, the tragic, and the unjust realities presented to us in our own societies by representing them fantastically, in hopes that someone out there will be positively affected in the same way he was.

To live is to experience. To experience is to understand. To understand is to love. We must choose love. Always.
