He explores familiar themes, such as young love lost, the loneliness of emigration, the loss of innocence, the tyranny of power and the struggle for acceptance. Brian Clarke was born in Dublin and has worked for multinational companies nationally and internationally. He has lived in the UK and France during his career. He now works as a management consultant and once more lives in Dublin with his wife Tonia.
