Derek Torrence was born and raised in sunny South Florida, where he received all his education. Originally planning on teaching, Derek began studying English at the local community college, but quickly switched to Information Technology and, ultimately, software development. Throughout his tenure as a software developer, Derek has worked for small businesses as well as corporate-level organizations. His love for organizing teams has followed him throughout this time.
