About the Author

USA Today best selling author Lorana Hoopes is the author of both Christian romances and Children's early readers. She is originally from Texas but now lives in the PNW with her husband and three kids. Many of her books are set in Texas, close to her roots, and her Wishing Stone books are based on her three children.

Her Wishing Stone books have been picked up by several schools and used as a summer reading book. They employ a glossary of challenging words and a resource list at the end so children can do additional research. She will be adding a Christian line to the Wishing Stone series soon.

She has several contemporary romance series spanning women's fiction, small towns, football players, and billionaires. She also has a speculative fiction series and a romantic suspense series.

I really enjoyed The Billionaire's Christmas Miracle. This is a short, sweet, Christian, Cinderella romance but Gwen loses a tennis bracelet rather than a shoe. The characters were complex and realistic. I loved this story of accepting people for who they are not what they have or their social position. Gwen stuck to her beliefs and encouraged Drew to know God. This is a wonderful story for Christmas.

This is the newest book by Lorana Hoopes. The book is good and the story is a modern day Cinderella tale. The main character is unusual because he is a down to earth billionaire. The girl is a sincere, hard- working, educator. The characters are likable and the story flows nicely. I recommend The Billionaire's Christmas Miracle to everyone who reads romance books and enjoys a good story.

This was a sweet, sigh-worthy novella. I would loved to have seen it played out in a full length novel, as the characters were wonderful and it would be fun to get to know them even more. A straight-up, modern day Cinderella, complete with a dropped bracelet and some scheming characters to add to the story. I can never get enough of Lorana's books. She is one of the reasons being a bookworm is so much fun.

Gwen masquerades as her friend, Callie, so the Callie can do something else -- she meets a mysterious man -- then is enjoying the party when she sees someone and jumps up and quickly leaves. Drew has to find her and the story starts with a bang. It is full of surprises, accidents, and intrigue. It will keep you reading one or two more pages and then you will suddenly be at the end. Like a lot of Lorana Hoopes' books I would love a sequel to this telling the next portion of their life.
