This version of The Bible Triumphant is a rare 1911 edition.
This work is presented in the attempt to sway people from a wide circulation, and several editions of Bible contradictions that the author believes has poisoned the minds of casual readers against the truths of inspiration and that the strong tower of skepticism has been scattered over the United States by the highest encomiums of the Infidel press. The author mentions to articles, which have helped spread doubt that the Bible is the work of God.
A contributor to the "Herald of Progress" writes, "Unless our judgment deceives us, the general reading of this work would oust from Christendom the last blind worshiper of the Bible, the contents of which are shown by this little tell-tale, to be a stupendous compound of contradiction and error. The most studious reader of the Bible will be astonished and overwhelmed at every step in going over these few pages to find how numerous and point-blank are the contradictions which fill the hitherto supposed God-given book."
The "Liberator" says, " It is an internal exhibition of the utter absurdity of the dogma of plenary inspiration, showing as it does at a glance, the multitudinous self-contradictions of the Bible, which no ingenuity of interpretation can reconcile, except that which can prove black to be white and white black."
With such taunts as these, the author says that the book that shows Bible contradictions has been thrown defiantly in the face of the christian world—and with a firm faith that "every word of God is pure", the defence has been undertaken, and so satisfactory are the evidences of the infallibility of God's word, that infidelity itself, must believe, if it would only investigate, so investigate the author does.
