Lesley R. Hulett was born in Sioux Falls, S.D., and currently resides in Shreveport, L.A. where she is an administrative assistant at Evangel Christian Academy.

She has also authored a Bible-based elementary physical education curriculum titled, Wonderfully Made: Teaching God's Word Through Physical Activity.

When Lesley is not authoring books, she is usually found reading, at concerts, or at the ballpark watching her two boys. She is married to former Major League Baseball player, Tug Hulett.
