The Best of MotorCity, Vol. 11 contains 16 selections from the vaults of Ian Levine's disco and soul label, including the Monitors' "Forever and Ever," Edwin Starr's "Round and Round," Billy Griffin's "Am I the One," Jean Terrell's "Too Many Memories," the Fantastic Four's "If You Need Me Call Me," Sisters Love's "Little Bit of Magic," Mable John's "From Bitter to Sweet," Hattie Littles' "Dancing in the Key of Life" and the Lewis Sisters' "Dancing With Danger." MotorCity never had any really big hits, but they had several interesting obscurities, a handful of which are included here amongst some entertaining filler. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
