Overview

Across the green prairie, Buc leads his clan over the grassy hills in a hope to find a permanent home. They travel through rich forests, beautiful springs, extreme heat, and dehydration. The days are always uncertain. But all seems to brighten when they find themselves in rich farmland. The abundance of crops and migration paths through the area is too enticing to leave. Hardened homes sprout up, walls are built, and other clans migrate in looking to end their nomadic culture. Among those seeking refuge, a tribe of strangers appear with dangerous news. A war mongering empire knows of their existence and is already planning their destruction. The strangers offer help through the incoming war, but some of Buc's families are skeptical of their purpose. Only after the war comes will the stranger's true colors be revealed.
