The Austin Gym Way
The following Signature Training program was the culmination of Bryan Wadie's 15 year involvement in the sport of powerlifting (1976-1991 as an entering and winning, Junior National Powerifting Champion, and International Powerlifting Official ).

During his career he used himself as an experiment and tried almost anything in terms of training methodologies to see what worked and what didn't work.

The backbone of the program is based on sound physiological and psychological principles, that he learned, from such greats as the late Dr. Ken Leistner and Dr. Tony Garcy (5X National Olympic Lifting champion 2X affiliate team member of the York Barbell Club in York, PA). This system works and was used (very) successfully, (by many willing athletes who on seemingly blind faith followed the widely popular training procedures of Bryan Wadie) on all levels of powerlifting from Class II to World record levels, one of the most notable being 242 pounder Bryan Nester, who had best lifts of: SQT-892, BP-512, DL-760.
