About the Author

Karen S. Itin, entrepreneur, owner of Karen’s Alteration Korner for twenty-five years. She is the co-author of 111 Morning Meditations by Sunny Dawn Johnston & Co Authors. She had tailoring training at Ben Simons, Harrington College of Design, Purdue University. She has a lifetime of interest in sewing, art, and design.
Tailoring has been a steady income that she has raised her family on for many years. She now lives in Indiana with her husband, Ted, dog, Missy, and a hen named Princess. She has two adult sons that live close by that she loves. She has many passions and talents in life. Most of her passions, she tries to implement each day in some way. She enjoys gardening and keeping up with a small vineyard of a variety of grapes. She loves the outdoors, walking the white sandy beaches of lake Michigan, and going off course to hike the woods at times. She enjoys art, baking, design, and sewing.
Writing has become a new way for her to express all her God given talents. It has given her a new perspective on all the things that she loves. Being in business for years has not only given her great customer service skills, but it has given her the acknowledgment that she loves to teach. She says that teaching people and then watching them implement the things you taught them is a wonderful feeling. She is taking her life to the next level by coaching people who want to change their lives and learn new skills. She is humbled and grateful to have the time to write this book and looks forward to a new chapter in her life of writing.
