"The Amazing "One is the story about a young 28 year old African American Doctor who happens to be eldest of three children, and the only girl. As I laid one night in stillness , reflecting on my life when I was 28 , I realized that I was still trying to figure out what career path I should choose, although I already had attended school for a career in the healthcare field, I still did not feel satisfied within my spirit and soul that I fulfilled my dreams, or my destiny. As a child I always thought of being a Doctor, yet I never pursue that career path. Instead I pursue training as a nurses aide, home health aide , Phlebotomist,and Electrocardiogram technician. Over years I often think about pursuing my childhood dream of being a Doctor, yet my mind has lead me to focus on other career paths. As I laid that night thinking about my daughter attending college for four years, graduating with a Masters in Public Health , and then within less than a year she enrolled in Medical school for five years to pursue her doctorate to practice Pediatric Medicine. June of last year she graduated with her Doctorate to practice Pediatric Medicine.a the age of 28. Currently she is doing her residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan New York. The title of my book the "Amazing One" came to my vision that night as I laid in bed reflecting on all that my daughter accomplish at such a young age, when so many young people do not know what they want to achieve in their lives.Or do not have the drive , motivation , determination, and ambition necessary to reach their full potentials. Doctor Natasha Ramsey was raised in a single parent household , me of course the mother of three young children was the sole provider in areas of their lives. I was strict and though , because I wanted to prepare my children for the real world that we live in.. I instilled values, morals and principles in them to withstand issues that may arise in different circumstances and situations. My intention, and purpose for writing my daughter story is to inspire, empower, enlightened, and to touch the spirit, mind and the soul in a way that brings a sense of peace and joy to ones entire being. Also to encourage young women to pursue their careers , and dreams before having children, which at times prevent them from pursing their careers, and dreams.

About the Author

For many years I worked in the healthcare field, providing care and support for people with all types of illnesses and aliments. I worked in nursing homes, hospital, and home settings as an home health aide, nursing aide and critical care technician. Also work in food service industry, childcare, and office industries. I am a proud mother of three adult children , and one grandson. My eldest child my daughter earned her doctorate to practice medicine as a Pediatrician June of last year from New York University. She is currently doing her residency at Mount Sinai in Manhattan New York. My eldest son is working a full time job, while pursuing his degree in Computer Graphic at Rutgers University, while care for his son. My younger son work a full time job, and has an interest in the music industry. Presently I work few hours a day, while pursuing my career as an author. Since my childhood years writing has always played an influential role in my life. I spend most of my time during my childhood years reading and writing, which brought excitement and joy to my being which of course were my favorite hobbies to do daily. I felt a lost if I was not reading, or writing at a given time or moment, which left me with such emptiness within my spirit and soul. As I blossom into my teenage years the reading and writing that I use to do in my childhood years has followed me to my adult life to pursue my dreams as a published author which I have fulfilled so far in publishing two books this year. I am currently writing my third book, and plan to write many more to inspire, empower, uplift , and to touch many spirits and souls with the art of writing
