About the Author

Kanyile Ka-Ngwenya is a profound writer, film creator and a communicator that hails from Southern Africa. “Growing up, l knew l wanted to be in the broadcast and entertainment industry, I fell in love with the stage when at 6years of age l was cast in the Nativity play at kindergarten and I have dreamt ever since”.

Kanyile decided to broaden his talent behind the camera and took a voyage to Atlanta, Georgia USA, where he attended American Inter-Continental University (AIU), and studied television and film production. While at varsity an epiphany for a talk show evolved. Kanyile created "The Afrodisiak Show" a location-based talk show where he went on to interview many personalities such as Boris Kodjoe (Actor), Afeni Shakur (Tupac’s mother), Hill Harper (CSI NY), Russell Simmons (Hip hop mogul and businessman), Andrew Young (former US ambassador to UN and Atlanta mayor) Reverend Jesse Jackson (Civil rights leader), Charlie Wilson (The Gap band), Blair Underwood (Actor), Akon (African music superstar) and Neyo (3-time Grammy award winner) to name but a few. He is now based in Hollywood where he is further broadening his producing talents as the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards.
