About the Author

Daz was born in Liverpool, England. His father from Barbados and a British mother.
Not meeting his father until later in life and his mother not being around, he has had a turbulent but colorful existence.

He lived in various homes in the Northwest of England before joining the Royal Air Force at 16.
After leaving the military, he found himself embarking in many different fields of work across the entertainment industry as an actor both in the UK and USA, but also and notably for a time working with children, especially from disadvantaged backgrounds which he connected with very easily.

Having watched a documentary about the Orangutans and their homes being chopped down, forcing them to find a new habitat, Daz decided to write the adventures of 2 Orangutans compelled to find a new home, the Urban Jungle.

The books can be educational and fun.
He hopes the readers enjoy their adventures but also understands this is about our environment and what we need to do to protect it.

Each one of us just needs to do our bit.
