About the Author

Hannah Lieberman graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), then worked as a bedding print designer in the textile industry for 7 years. While she and her fiancé, Rob, dog-sat two adorable pups in Ithaca, NY, Hannah would watch the dogs swim, run, splash, and play, and realized they made every day feel like the most exciting day of their lives. Hannah found so much happiness and joy during these romps that she was inspired to write The Adventures of Lucy Goose and Molly Moose, a bedtime story based on the adventures they took to trails, waterfalls, and gorges in New York.
This is Hannah’s first book (other than the ones she made in elementary school). She currently lives in Wauwatosa, WI with Rob and her two rescue dogs, Hanzel and Gracie. She is inspired by Roald Dahl’s stories, Ireland, the loving loyalty of her dogs, and, of course, her fiancé. Hannah wants to show kids that every day can be a joy as long as you spend it with someone you love.

The book is absolutely delightful! The illustrations are beautiful, and I love the theme of taking adventured through reading. It also shows that friendships come in all forms, even geese and moose. Very sweet – I would definitely have read this to my classes back when I was an art teacher.
