Overview

Ten years have passed since the death of the evil sorcerer Garlock, and the battle for good and evil has just begun. Join Admiral Joe Garkee and his crew as they travel to the Far Away Lands to open the world of trade and defeat the former evil sorcerer Ang, who was stripped of his powers by the great wizard and Orac Valatu, or chosen one, Bargo Lynden. With the introduction of gunpowder, previously prohibited to only wizards, they must face the Glorcion Empire and Ang's wrath.
With his cousin Bargo Lynden's help, Admiral Garkee convinces the Shudolin and Elven governments to break tradition and allow the use of the black powder against the enemies of the land. Regnel, the council leader, disgruntled by their activities, stages a coo and locks Bargo in his own dungeon, finding his weakness and separating him from his wife and newborn son, Jeremiah. His son has powers of his own, and it isn't long before a magical and psychic connection forms, and the Orac Valatu finds the strength to challenge Regnel.
Joe Garkee has his own troubles with a man named Devlin, who previously tried to buy powder from Bargo Lynden ten years before. He has been selling goods and weapons to the Licarions, purchased from Ang and the Glorcion Empire to plan an invasion. Joe and his fleet must travel to the Far Away Lands to end the practice, establish a presence there, and destroy an evil that will infect the entire world if it's not stopped. Join the Freedom Bearer crew, and this riveting adventure filled with action, suspense, romance, and the fight for good and evil in a world where the old rules no longer apply.
