Overview

This edition is written in bold and font size 24.

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is written in vernacular English, reflecting its setting in the southern United States. Its coarse language, including racial slurs, has caused much debate over the years, though the book, and Huckleberry Finn himself, are generally anti-racist.

This book has been adapted many times for stage and screen and is as popular today as it was when it was first published in the late nineteenth century.
