Overview

Henry the Rabbit is no ordinary Rabbit. He does, after all, ride a fox. With his faithful mount Henry sets off to explore the world beyond his forest home. His curiosity quickly leads Henry into a series of unlikely adventures. Henry’s kind nature and determined spirit compel him to help the good creatures he encounters along his journey. Often Henry acts before he thinks, but somehow manages to come out on top. When Henry explores an ancient castle, hoping to find treasure he stumbles into a trap.

Henry surprises the villains he encounters at the castle and discovers something even better than treasure. The animals of the valley make Henry their King! Now he must help them fend off an army of desperate rats!

About the Author

Born and raised on a family farm in The Green Mountains of Vermont, Jesse now lives in South Carolina with his wife, Stephanie, and their five children. A lifelong student of science fiction, fantasy, and world history, Jesse loves storytelling and world building in traditional written forms and through the immersive medias and mechanics of games. Service as a United States Army infantryman has shaped his understanding of life and imparted an appreciation for a wide range of human experiences. He draws inspiration from history, nature, technology, and the lives of those around him as well as his personal experiences.

Phillip Ortiz is a fine artist, and illustrator, also experienced in photography, and graphic design. As a child, Phillip spent hours each day painting and drawing stories and scenes from his boyish imagination. Phillip is now living his lifelong dream of telling visual stories through design, commissioned paintings, and illustrating children's books. Whether for commission or originally inspired work, Phillip's creative passion remains to convey meaningful stories through his art. He has over twenty-five years' experience, working with pen and ink, watercolor, acrylics, pencil and colored pencil as well as mixed media. Phillip holds a degree in graphic design from Southwest University of Visual Arts in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He currently resides near Kansas City where he enjoys sharing his creativity and a love for nature with his wife and four children.
