About the Author

Claire Peters lives on a farm in East Sussex. She is married to Andrew, and they have two teenage children. Claire was one of those children who used to sneak a torch and her much loved book under the bed sheets at night for some late night reading! Yes we've all done it! As a child her books transported her into a different World...and captured her imagination. Claire's love for reading resulted in a love for writing, and led her to study English at University. She has instilled the importance of reading to her two children, both of whom love books. Claire used to write poems and little stories and read them to her children when they were young. Claire's aim was to spark her children's imagination and transport them to the places which she used to go to when she was gripped with a great story! We can all name our favourite books we had as children. Claire truly believes that capturing our children's imagination with books, starts from the moment they are born. Whether it is in rhyme, song or spoken word. The inspiration for The Adventures of Bentley, Otto and Bob came from watching Bentley and Otto playing together in Claire's garden! The stories are told through the eyes of Bob the flea, who is kind and very wise. Bob the flea is always with Bentley and Otto, and is able to jump between the two, as and when he likes! He is totally immune to any form of flea treatment... The stories are fun and rhythmical with an underlying message; such as the importance of friendship, love and kindness. All of which, Claire feels, are crucial qualities to teach our children. The Adventures of Bentley, Otto and Bob will be enjoyed by adults and children alike, and they will transport children into a World full of fun, mischief, love and laughter!
