Seán has over 25 years of experience across the hospitality, alternate accommodation, CoLiving, CoWorking, Real Estate and franchising & technology sectors, having held senior management roles in operations, sales development, brand development and travel tech with brands such as Marriott, Wyndham, and Aimbridge. As CEO of BridgeStreet, Seán lead a team that pivoted the company to an innovative, award-winning global agency platform, connecting Business-to-Business, scaling from about four thousand serviced apartments to over seventeen million accommodation choices across six categories worldwide.
A native of Galway, Ireland, Seán has also called home to the U.S., the UK, Germany, Portugal and Barcelona, Spain, as he directed operations and spearheaded development in those locations, as well as in Asian markets.
His specialty lays in business transformation management. The founder of T5 Strategies, Sean and his team advise both established companies and start-ups, from business strategy, intelligence and procedural and tech analysis and development, to prepping for funding investment, Executive and Team Coaching and more. In addition, he joined the HoCoSo Consulting expert community as Managing Director Technology, Adaptation, and Innovation Services.
Under the T5 flag, in collaboration with respected journalist and well-known industry showrunner Glenn Haussman, Seán has recently authored “The ADAPTERS: How the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Industry in Adapting and Innovating to Connect the World.” This interactive and digitally enhanced work incorporates interviews with industry leaders to honestly examine the state of the industry and offer insight on leadership best practices and practical guidance on how to adapt and innovate, especially in today’s challenging climate.
Sean is also a contributor and commentator in the space, including spots on Bloomberg, speaking engagements on industry-related panels, authoring articles and lecturing.
Sean’s a keen cyclist and he and Andrea split their time between the USA, Ireland and Spain.
