What People are Saying About This

The Center for Action & Contemplation Fr. Richard Rohr

The 5 Foundations of Successful Teens is designed for parents, and its focus is a bit different from most books of this type: it looks at teens not doing well academically due to emotional and motivational issues. It’s a quick read with lots of suggestions and tools for parents. Stories from my clinical practice and experiences in my family are central: we include sections written by my son Alex as he recalls overcoming learning differences & social anxiety as a child and teen. I hope it is encouraging for parents who are encouraging their teenage son or daughter during a challenging time in their lives.

From the Publisher

It's very timely because I have some very intellectually gifted students that I'm attempting to support who definitely fall within the "challenge averse" category with straight F grades in all of their classes.
