Tommy is a teen genius who dominates the online world of Call of Duty (COD). In reality, the brilliant but nerdy Tommy is a constant target for schoolyard bullies. That is until the new kid, the athletic Ethan comes to town; a Jewish kid whose dead Grandfather talks to Tommy and guides him toward his goal of developing a device that will allow him to travel into the Fourth Dimension while promising grampa Joshua he will watch out for the dangers that Grampa Joshua knows are heading for all of them.

Wanting desperately to impress his secret online crush for BlizzardGirl, the daughter of a gaming tycoon, Tommy signs up for the world's largest COD Tournament. Winning this tournament has dual benefits for Tommy. The Grand Prize of $50,000 will help bail out his bully-turned-friend Antoine and his family from their mob debt. Plus, his stellar performance as the world's best gamer should win over BlizzardGirl.

Once in Las Vegas for the tournament, things begin to move sideways after rescuing a young Columbian girl kidnapped for sale by a Columbian gang with Vegas connections – and they want her back. Things spiral out of control as the gaming countdown approaches and Ethan is kidnapped to be traded for the girl.

Tommy in desperation, and with the help of Ethan's phantom grandfather, finds a way to move into the fourth dimension as he masterminds the rescue attempt. Bullets and victims abound as the young quartet retrieves Ethan. Tommy and his gaming partner, Antoine, get back in time for the competition, all of them fending off the police, the gangsters and their parents as the teens struggle toward uncertain and unpredictable outcomes.
