Overview

I am a witness to God's power and mercy. I have been processed in all areas of my life: physical, emotional, family and economic. The way God worked in me allowed me to live, made me a warrior, a woman of faith, confident, secure, fearless, a RESILIENT woman. I have been able to see the lives of many people being edified through testimonies. So, the purpose of this book is not to tell the story of my life, but to make known how through my processes I have learned to trust in God's promises, to submit to God and depend on His love and mercy. I have learned to rise above circumstances, and I have seen God glorify Himself on every occasion. "IF YOU BELIEVE, YOU WILL SEE THE GLORY OF GOD".

About the Author

I was born on September 10th in the province of San Cristobal, Dominican Republic. I am the only female and the oldest of my mother’s children. Since I was a little girl, I took on a lot of responsibility with the care of my siblings and household chores, which made me develop a strong and somewhat dominant character. At the age of twelve, I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and because of His love and mercy, I have remained steadfast in His way to this day. At the age of sixteen, I began leading an international ministry project called COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL and served in this ministry for seventeen years, where I was able to share the Gospel with hundreds of children, teenagers and their families, as well as helping them with health, education and food. Through this ministry I was trained to be a teacher, although my dream was to be a pediatrician. The Lord wanted me to be a teacher. In 2005, I graduated from the Universidad del Caribe with a degree in Education. Since 2009, I have been living in the Bronx, New York, with my children: Josué, Gianna, Isaac, and another son the Lord has added to me: Bryan. Currently I attend the church “El Amanecer de la Esperanza”. There I serve the Lord with my husband as the diaconal ministers, and today I can say GLORY TO THE LORD; THE LORD HAS HELPED ME SO FAR.
