My goal after graduating from Woodbury College was to pursue fashion illustration. I liked the exciting idea of combining art and fashion. Instead of getting a job after graduating I married my college sweetheart. We settled down and had two children, my daughter Delene and my son Brian. I'm so fortunate to have them both. I was a homemaker and a mother but still pursued my interest in the arts. I studied with Sergie Bongart who was a fine artist from Russia. After my children were older I applied for and got a job as an illustrator at Arkon Brothers, a buying house in downtown Los Angeles near the California Mart. We published a magazine and sent it to clients all over the country. My job was sketching any new design garments or accessories from manufacturers at the mart. I couldn't continue in the fashion industry after moving to the Antelope valley so I attained my license as a broker selling new homes for builders, It was a fast paced vocation and I found it rewarding but it was also in flux most of the time. I've always been an avid reader and have a love of books, Just picking one up and looking thru it is wonderful way to spend time. Writing a book is so new to me, but it is also very exciting. I am retired and can spend my time doing things other than work. So my interest in writing has blossomed and I enjoy creating characters that are intriguing to me; I didn't know it was there waiting to be discovered, which just goes it show you can't be afraid of trying new things. I hope you enjoy the story and that Terry Tittles and his pals become your friends too.
