Jaime, Cheche, Aidah, Asher, Alex, and Bonita are a group of highschoolers with very different backgrounds. But, when a mysteriously localised earthquake hits Florida, they find that things can and will get a lot stranger. At first, having superpowers might seem cool to any kid, even if you're not quite sure how to control them yet. But it's not long before they discover that unknown creatures are destroying life as they know it, causing chaos around the world. They're repopulating like mad and, the one thing the kids can be sure of is, they will bring about the apocalypse if they're not stopped soon. Unable to come across enough information for a definitive why any of this is happening, or even exactly what these mystery creatures are, the kids must put aside their differences to save their dying earth.
