Although devastated by his burns, Rob has many people who love him: his devoted parents, his beautiful girlfriend Kate, his school-friend Colin and the lion-hearted 11 year-old Charlie Slater who has to overcome many problems of his own but is the person who helps Rob the most.

Linda M James is a published author/screenwriter and poet who writes books in many genres: historical, psychological, crime and non-fiction books. 

She adapts her novels into screenplays and she’s delighted that her psychological thriller "The Day of the Swans" is going into film production in 2022. 

She is also a creative writing tutor who has moved many times, but now lives in the beautiful medieval city of Canterbury, Kent, UK.
