What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

"Tell Me Your Story: The Parables of Jesus provides hope, inspriration, and a whole new appreciation for the parables. Arthur Zannoni invites us to cast our own story alongside the story of God. As we ponder the 'stories behind the stories,' we are drawn into the powerful love of God exploding in our hearts and minds. This unique pastoral and educational resource will inspire, challenge, and enrich all who hear in Jesus' words the voice of God."
—Edith Pendergast, RSC, Director of Religious Education, Archdiocese of Los Angeles

"For all who follow him, Jesus is the Teacher. Christians have always sought to know better what's in the heart of his teaching—and to follow it in their lives. Many people seeking that deeper understanding of Jesus will find this work to be a tremendous resource. Not only does Art Zannoni provide the facts about what's in the Gospels, but, with scholarly depth, he brings it to life by story and example. I found myself flipping to my favorite parables, eager to see what the author had to say."
—Bill Huebsch, author of Vatican II in Plain English and other works in plain english on the theology of the Council

"Tell Me Your Story is the book you have been seeking: to probe in-depth the parables whether alone or sharing with a group, to understand your own story or Jesus' story, to put together a homily or to understand one, to pray more deeply or to live better, and to experience healing where challenged by the most difficult parables or the one that seems easy because you are missing what it really says."
—Matthew Linn, SJ, teacher of spirituality, author (with Dennis Linn and others) of eighteen books, including the well-known Healing Life's Hurts and Healing of Memories
