Shannon Enete authored "Teeth Not Tears" after a life changing medical volunteer experience in Haiti. She found numerous books written from an outsider's view of Haiti but none that expressed the Haitian perspective. Hence the conception of "Teeth Not Tears;" in order to share with the world the strength and resilience found in the Haitian spirit.
