About the Author

Paola Savvidou is a pianist, pedagogue, and wellness advocate. She serves as Wellness Initiative Program Manager and Adjunct Lecturer in Piano at the University of Michigan. Among her honors are two Article of the Year awards by the Music Teachers National Association for her publications. She is an avid presenter on pedagogical applications of Laban Movement Analysis, yoga, meditation, and Motivational Interviewing within the music studio setting.
