Joselyn was building her career in Los Angeles recording commercials, producing nationally syndicated radio shows and meeting music producers when the 2008 economic downturn hit. After*transitioning from Hollywood to homeless, Joselyn decides to move back to her hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She unexpectedly gets a teaching position with at-risk students at a high school in a section of Albuquerque, known as "The War Zone." She's jolted into the realities many students and teachers live on a daily basis. She also has to face the childhood traumas she ran away from.
