About the Author

Kim Johnson was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. Her prayer life began as a child when she was taught by her grandmother to pray the 'Our Father' prayer. Little did she know that her prayers and love or God, from a young age, would eventually lead her to an Acts 2:38 experience of being born again of water and Spirit. Just prior to Kim's conversion, she stepped down from her position as president of a graphic arts corporation. Even at that time, God was dealing her about issues pertaining to righteousness and holiness. After leaving her career in graphic arts, she spent most of her time in intercessory prayer, teaching Bible studies and assisting her local congregation. During the past seventeen years of serving God, her ministry of prayer has been undergirded by the advice of elders who have given their lives to prayer. Today, Kim continues to give herself to the ministry of intercessory prayer. She possesses the necessary biblical knowledge and experience to assist the prayer life of believers and non-believers alike. She continues to travel internationally teaching seminars on prayer.
