Overview

Accompany Detective Emma Mason and her partner, Mitch Delaney, as they undertake to protect the city of Rochester, New York from a psychopathic killer as he falls deep into the abyss of his mental disorder. Explore the world of police procedures, as they interact with the crime unit, the coroner's office, ballistics and the patrol officers who serve and protect our cities. Read about real techniques, as well as conceptual ones, that I developed because they could certainly enhance the repertoire of law enforcement should they be available in the future. Woven into the story is the tale of an extremely wealthy and mysterious suitor named Peter, who appears to have fallen head over heels for Emma. Travel with Emma as their two very different worlds collide in unexpected ways. Emma's emotional struggle when she uncovers information that points to him as a dangerous, international criminal. This story is rich with investigative science and clips along the streets of Rochester at an invigorating pace, highlighting events that made the city famous. Readers looking for a smart, entertaining mystery will not be disappointed.
