About the Author

Alexandra Holden is a writer from Alberta, Canada. When her fourth grade teacher told her to, “find a subject other than [her] dog to write about,” she resorted to the next best thing, and has since been immortalizing the boys who have broken her heart through the written word. She has had numerous plays she has written performed, along with writing for different newspapers and blogs. Alexandra began writing Tangled In Tennessee while pursuing her songwriting in Nashville, using her experiences—minus the hot boy band, unfortunately—to create Mackenzie’s big adventure. Alexandra is currently studying English Literature in University, neglecting her homework to write stories.
