About the Author

Shelly Gail Morris was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended West Georgia College. After marrying her soul mate, she moved around the country enjoying his baseball career. With such a busy life, she concentrated on writing short stories. Destiny, fate, past lives and strong women have always been her favorite topics. She has two sons and enjoyed raising them in bustling Chicago, Illinois. The family now resides in Tennessee.

Novel Books and Belle Books were the first to publish her short stories. Her girlfriends in Naperville encouraged her to submit her stories, and her first book was published in 2001. Four books have followed in publication. Our USA Magazine ran a line of her, Just Sayin', articles. She loved writing person of interest stories for The Nolensville News & Observer.

She has three rambunctious grandchildren who bring her immense joy. She's involved in animal rescue and keeps her Cat Cave bustling with fosters! Trips to the Smoky Mountains inspire her, and no day is complete if she isn't jotting down story ideas!
