Five years ago, when he got tired of the rat race, and chasing the so called social-ball while trying to kill himself with an overdose of women, booze and work, he quit and moved to Darrington. The move was not so much as having a place to hide in, it was more like giving him a chance to slow his life down and allowing him to see past tomorrow. Upon moving up here, his life actually did slow down. His shop was two miles away from his home and they quickly became the only things in his life that gave him any real pleasure. From that point on in his life they were what took up all of his time and he liked it like that. It was perhaps the first time in his life that he was truly content.
