The strength of Talk Turkey is the wide variety of methods Ferguson provides for cooking the bird, from the simple to the unexpected, such as microwaving, boiling or stewing, and using a crockpot. Another chapter troubleshoots various scenarios, e.g., power outages. Interspersed within the advice are questions, many of them humorous, posed to the Talk Line in the past.
