About the Author

The Author, Adam J. Smith, has been a writer all his life. He wrote his first song at the age of 11, and since then has written over 900 songs and poems, and 4 books. Adam was born and raised in Johannesburg, Michigan, where he played an array of sports and discovered his passion for music and writing. He moved to Louisiana in 1996, at the beginning of his freshman year of high school, where he played football Fontainebleau High. He attended college at Southeastern Louisiana University, studying pre-veterinary medicine, before changing his major, and graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management. He later received his MBA from Louisiana State University. He and his wife Nicole, and their family, currently live in Madisonville, Louisiana.

While music was Adam's first passion, Science and religion have always played major roles in his life. He developed a deep sentiment for both writing and science in his years at college. He studied the life and works of Albert Einstein extensively; considering Einstein his postmortem mentor and role-model, citing his devotion for peace and never-ending thirst for knowledge. Adam's family has always been a source of inspiration and support, and continue to be his favorite audience.
