Overview

"A wonderful story for the pet lover and dreamer in us all... This book will make the strings of your heart go zing. Or woof. Or meow..." ~ Chris Manson, Editor "The Beachcomber", Destin, FL

A note from the Author ~
The images in this book are original paintings on canvas. Each is a celebration of a special dog or cat, real or imagined. I brought these characters together in this picture book to celebrate the amazing animals that get left behind and forgotten every day. Dogs and cats in shelters everywhere; waiting for a chance to meet someone who will love and take care of them.
These short, furry creatures we bring into our lives aren't just dogs and cats, they're rock stars, super heroes, princesses, and dare devils. They're loyal, loving friends who write their own stories on our lives and in our hearts.

About the Author

Robin Wiesneth creates surprises in her artwork by combining common objects in uncommon ways. Her art and book series “Tails of Imagination” creates an imaginative world where anything is possible for her cleverly crafted animal characters. Her paintings are brought to life using fully illustrated scenes that enhance each character’s movement and personality. With rhythmic, colorful prose, Robin establishes a playful and uplifting mood. Her words help us to connect with each character and eagerly anticipate what might come next. In effect, the artwork and prose act as an imaginative springboard, inviting the reader to imagine limitless possibilities and create their own stories.
