Table in the Sun
My fifth chapbook acknowledges the necessary talent of an author, who utilizes experience and knowledge in all manner of projection and perception that is required to tell a true and believable story; be it real or imagined. It is for the reader to decide if the events in the story are plausible, but, taking into account both the body of work of the author and the known experiences of the author, it is almost certain that he expects the readers to trust the story.
There is also a connection between those projections of authorship and the psychological projections that surface in biography and memoir. When the story is told, in such a way that it is true to feelings and the sequence of events, the subject takes on these projections naturally. Any disconnect between the characters and the events would occur in life as well; in fact, they may be necessary occurrences for the psyche.
These occurrences are time sensitive and tracing them backward is the basis for understanding all worlds, again I say those that are real or imagined, and each one is important to the author; utilizing this is how we collect our creativity and make it mean something to the reader; it is how we explain the world as scientists, teachers, and believers; and it is both quantum mechanics and relativity. In it, you may find faith or fault.
