Tabitha Rivers is not a popular teenage girl. Instead of her looks and her relationships, she prefers to focus her attention on her academics and imagination. But when her twin brother, Thaddeus, becomes the talk of their school for standing up to a school jock, her anxiety takes a turn for the worse and sends her into a sleep-like coma which she can’t be woken up from. After an intriguing conversation with an eccentric scientist, Thaddeus finds himself spiraling into a series of events that leads him into the core of his sister’s dreams. Inside, he finds out that Tabitha’s dreams are a made-up world of plotting kingdoms, a desert insurrection, and a deceitful thief king who tricks Thaddeus and his new companions into journeying to a hidden mountain that can only be seen at dusk. There lays a valuable treasure said to be impossible for any man to obtain, but Thaddeus must retrieve the treasure to rescue his sister and go home.

About the Author

Daniel T. Martinez is an American author from Monmouth County, NJ. He was born on October 17th, 1982 in Long Branch, NJ to his mother, Suzanne Martinez. He has lived in New Jersey his entire life where he attended several schools between Monmouth and Ocean counties. He began writing short stories in 6th grade when he was given a project by his english teacher, Mrs. Hillman to come up with an original story and read it to the rest of the class. Daniel wrote a horror story called "January 16th" loosely based on a dream he had the night before. Mrs. Hillman was astounded at Daniel's work and it lead him to a life-long calling to be an author.

Daniel is the author of the "Tabitha and the 6 Kingdoms" book series. He has also had writing and art credits for several independant works like comic books, "The Adventures of Joanie and Cybe", "Conundrum Theory", and "Absolute Zero". He has also worked on a web-based comic strip called "Forbidden Fruit Punch", to which he also lent his skills in art. In his writing career, he has also finished a co-written screenplay called "So Punk, It Hurts", but unfortunately a falling out with one of the co-writers left that project permanently grounded.
