Orphaned at birth, Zephaniah - an Earth baby, is brought to the high tech planet of Abishua. He is adopted by Kanis - a super-strong Onalogian and Myra - a Terran woman. Zephaniah grows up in a society where a multitude of cultures and beliefs co-exist almost peacefully. Surrounded by aliens from throughout the Gedaliah Confederation, Zephaniah comes to accept his super powers in much the same way as he accepts his brown hair color - they are an integral part of his everyday life.
