This is a travel journal of August Olsson who left his home in Orebro, Sweden to come to America in 1887. It was written in Swedish in real-time from his making passage by ship to England, by rail to Scotland, by ship to America and finally by rail to Ishpeming, Michican where he journaled is work experience through 1888.
