About the Author

I live with my two teenagers, Sara and Jack, in Illinois. I now attend Orchard Community Church after nineteen years at Christ Community Church � Blackberry campus. I began and led the Women�s Ministry for ten years. I�ve traveled to Haiti and Sierra Leone, and led a team of women to Liberia with Samaritan�s Purse doing AIDS work. I write a monthly column for moms, and I write regularly for websites such as Crosswalk.com and Graceformoms.com. I speak several times a month to women�s and moms� groups. I am honored to be a member of Redbud Writers� Guild. And my idea of a great weekend would include time with my kids, time with my best friends, an evening at church, a bike ride, some reading and some writing.
