Overview

In your hands, you are holding my innermost deepest thoughts. You are grasping my mind, my pain, my growth, and my happiness. Writings I have created for over four years. I have faced the onset of pain, which I express in the first part of my book, Dusk. With the beginning of pain comes some of the worst days we all must face. I go into depth with some of these worst moments in my next section, Darkness. We all survive such bad times and only grow from these experiences. In my final chapter, Dawn, I express the growth found from experiencing such traumatic events. Sunset City is full of raw emotion. It gives way to feelings everyone must experience throughout life. It's cut-throat, ruthless, empowering, and real. It expresses how good comes with evil, happiness comes with pity, and feeling alive also comes with feeling lonely. We all live in Sunset City, continually dealing with the pull between happiness and pity.
