Sunlight Streaming Through Tree Branches is a short collection of poems, inspired by the sheer wonder and beauty of the precise moment when the sun lined up with crevice of a cluster of leaves. As a child, I used to swing under the massive Maple tree, at my grandparents' house, and reached for the leaves that I considered my trophies. This book inspires the simple childlike happiness that was satisfied with leaves and the sun and those things. So, if life gets too hectic, perhaps Sunlight Streaming Through Tree Branches can be a reminder of a simpler time.
