About the Author

Barbara Pressman is an adjunct professor at the College of Education at Florida Atlantic University, where she also supervises FAU student teachers for the Palm Beach County school district. She is a founding participant of Substitutes with Mentors and Realistic Teaching (SMaRT), a program to develop qualified, trained substitute teachers.
