In their wish to return to their own country and timeline where they can live on their own rather than be surrounded by Russian royal retainers, Marty and Nick return to the United States at the end of the first decade of the twenty-first century.
They end up in Las Vegas, where they begin their entry into the business world by setting themselves a huge nestegg while playing high stakes poker. They use these funds to build huge and highly profitable financial empire.
Their hectic though very satisfying world, where they make many devoted friends, is shattered by multiple terrorist atacks on civilians across the United States on the 4th of July, which decimates many families and their children in the midst of celebrating together. The plot against the country hinges upon murdering both the President and Vice President and installing in their stead the Speaker of the House who is a 'sleeper' agent for the worst international terrorist organization.
They succeed in killing the President of the United States, his family, and the family of the Vice president.
Fortunately and unbeknownst to the killers, the Vice President stayed at home that day and survived the butchery. When she realized what is happening she calls upon Marty and Nick to save her life, which they do successfully. Then, once sworn in as the new President, she asks them to remain by her side and help her rid the United States of all its enemies, foreign and domestic.
A brutal fight ensues as Marty and Nick together with a group of their friends exact brutal revenge on everyone involved in trying to decimate the country.
