About the Author

Anthony C. Baker is the husband of Valerie, the father of three daughters, and the grandfather of a little girl with a mind of her own. Originally from Chattanooga, TN, he is now the 50th pastor of the historic Bethlehem Baptist Church in Warthen, GA (est. 1790).

Besides a love for preaching, painting, and playing his bass guitar, Anthony loves to teach the Bible around the world, physically and online, with every opportunity and media platform available.

Dr. Baker (a graduate of Temple Baptist Seminary and Covington Theological Seminary) has a strong desire to edify the Body of Christ (the Church) and encourage other ministers, especially those who are bi-vocational. His latest book, “Street of the Week,” aims to strengthen the Kingdom by encouraging not only the pastors, but congregations everywhere to show a calloused world the love of Christ.
